These aren’t really toys; they belong more in the “ridiculously cool artwork” category. Since they’re at Munky King, the Toys category will have to do for now. Edsel Livermoor is a series of five resin sculpts by LA artist ZOSO. One edition is already sold out, and the other four are still available at Munky King.

Who is Edsel Livermoor? In the artist’s own words:

Meet Edsel Livermoor. Edsel was concieved as a Supersculpy figure sculpted by ZOSO, and was then sent to Julie and the team at Pretty in Plastic to do a solid resin casting. there only exists 5 of him, and each one is hand painted uniquely by the artist. The Livermoors have been laboriously hand made from start to finish in Los Angeles.

To see more of ZOSO’s artwork from his latest show, visit this link. You can also see more pictures of his sculpts on his Flickr page. I’m looking forward to seeing more from ZOSO. If you’re in LA, check out the next Cannibal Flower. It’s a group art show, and he’ll be one of the many artists showing their work.

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.
