You, yes you are cordially invited to “Uninvited Guests”, the upcoming solo show of new works by Kathie Olivas at Myplasticheart. For those of you who adore your Scavengers, this is your chance to see some one of a kind Olivas magic up close and personal. Myplasticheart will be hosting the show “Uninvited Guests” put together by Olivias herself and it will feature a collection of mixed media pieces. The show will features art from her current Scavenger series. They’ll be small paintings, drawings, plus some custom vinyl toys “evolving around her post-apocalyptic themed group of cute but tainted characters.” The show will open on October 17th and will be up until November 19th and Kathie Olivas and her hubby and fellow artist Brandt Peters will be in attendance to chat about these new pieces at the opening on the 17th from 6-9 pm. Our new New York correspondent Saki will be covering the show for us, so keep you eyes peeled for updates!
