ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

Now that the LOST season finale has come and gone, search trends show a renewed interest in last year’s LOST Kubricks. Since I can’t tell you who is occupying Locke’s body (or if/when there will ever be a BrautKubrick), here instead is a preview of the upcoming Where The Wild Things Are Kubricks.

In anticipation of the upcoming movie these Kubrick figures bring the story’s memorable characters to life. Each figure stands approximately 2″ tall and features the stylization and articulation collectors expect from Medicom’s acclaimed Kubrick figures. There’s also a combined set of Kubrick/Bearbrick figures for fans who like the bearish style.

There will also be Vinyl Collector Dolls and a 12-inch Real Action Hero Max. All figures are anticipated in October 2009.  The Kubricks will retail for $9.99, Kub/Bearbricks for $19.99, VCDs for $34.99 and RAH for $149.99. More information at Previews.
