WeKillYou has been super ultra busy lately, what with hiding monster plaques throughout NYC, making pieces for Red Hot Robot’s Resin Collective show and quietly conquering the known universe. Being their Facebook friends definitely has its advantages. Perhaps it’ll earn me a few extra moments to say goodbye when their monsters eventually crush civilization. Deal?
Early on today, I was enthralled when WKY revealed the ‘NYC Edition’ of their Gonakedet resin figure – a clear resin with a Statue of Liberty geegaw floating inside. If that isn’t the best use of those omnipresent horrors that I’ve ever seen, I’d like to see a better one. So, mucho congrats to Adam Lawrence, monster hunter and resin owner. He’s a lucky guy.
Later, WKY hit up the ol’ Twitterstream with a preview of the piece they’re working on for the upcoming Resin Collective show, which hits on April 11th in Phoenix, AZ – a show which also promises to blow the brains from your head, make molds of them, and replicate them in various colorways.
