Uberbot Joins Upper Playground in Art for Obama

Beyond Toys

Designer toy retailer, Uberbot, joins streetwear and art toy purveyors Upper Playground in using art to inspire change.

Upper Playground has sold Obama posters by established artists like Shepard Fairey and Ron English, and now Uberbot is focusing on you, the up-and-coming designers of tomorrow. Uberbot acknowledges that the art surrounding Obama is the most impressive political art movement in modern history. When you submit your art to Uberbot, it could become a shirt, poster or sticker–with a portion of the proceeds going to the Obama campaign.

A couple of guidelines are:

  • Limit the design to four colors, including black and white.
  • Avoid shading, blending and halftones.
  • Art must be sent in jpg, eps, pdf, or psd format.
  • All art must be at least 300 dpi.  The bigger the better.

For more information and rules, contact Uberbot or check out their press release here.
