Today marks one of the most historic events in United States history, but Toy Tokyo asks why should the celebrating end in just 24 hours? The answer to that question comes in the form of an Obama Inauguration Event this Friday, January 23rd from 7-11PM at the Showroom in NYC. Of course, they’ll be celebrating with inaugural toys. Toy Tokyo will have for sale Ron English’s Abraham Obama bust (inaugural colorway) and Jailbreak Toys’ Obama action figure (Hope edition). Mr. Ron English, himself, will be flying in Friday night and making a special guest appearance! Music by DJ SNIPE and beer by Singha. This sounds like total fun: toys, politics, artists, toys…when has this ever happened before? Unfortunately, I’m 3,000 miles away, but if you’re in the area, check it out!
