So Huck Gee is dropping some more of his uniquely customized Munny/Dunny figures via his eBay storefront in about 24 hours on Friday at noon. The Skullhuntress: Life Priestess comes with ceremonial feathered head gear, sun rays, beaded necklace and clothes, sacred two-eared white life skull and a bloody skull staff. Huck’s email says she is: “Revered by all: she is the spirit walker, the prophet, the healer, the life bringer.” I think he also missed “money-taker” and “foreclosure-bringer.” I’m an open-minded guy. I like Huck’s style and I hear he is a really nice dude. But $800 per figure? Really? I’m walking myself through understanding this. This is a limited edition of 10. Each figure will be unique to a degree, as they are hand-customized. Some artists sell tiny paintings for twice as much, so Huck should be able to sell his art at this price. I believe that toys can be art. Huck’s done this before and the market/fans accept it, so why am I cranky? Afterall, I just got my “economic stimulus” check from GWB. (Ha! Not even enough to buy one of these figures!) Anyway, if you need this figure, so do more than 10 other people, so you’ll want to check your ethernet cables or secure your wi-fi hotspot and ready your PayPal finger. Feel free to leave me angry/educational comments below.

His stuff is nice but way over priced and over hyped.

Grim, I fully appreciate you saying that. Full agreement, but like there is an unspoken code we shouldn’t say it.
