Readers of ToyCyte will know we have a deep appreciation for Alex Pardee. Perhaps best known for his savagely surreal, iconic painting, we are proud to call Alex a friend, and it helps that he is just one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet.
That is why it gives us great pleasure to announce our first Exclusive ToyCyte Apparel offering: We have made a small run of American Apparel t-shirts, in conjunction with Upper Playground and Alex, and are now available in our store. We only printed up 144 of these shirts and features Alex Pardee’s “Walrus Rider” painting, which is the genesis of the the upcoming Walrus Toy we have blogged about before!
Also, check out the upcoming toy based on Alex’s design! We ordered a bunch for our store as well and will have some surprises to drop on that front! More news to come.
