When I am in Los Angeles, I always make sure to pay a visit to Wacko. Inevitably, I end up with some kind of doo-dad or thingamajig that I really didn’t need. On October 18th, I could safely visit this Hollywood landmark without having to crack open my wallet. They will be having a good old fashioned toy swap…oh and sale, cos things are always on sale…so perhaps the wallet will have to crack. The trading will go off in the store’s parking lot from 12-3 on Saturday the 18th. They ask that you bring “your repeat Qees, Dunnys, Ci-Boys, Bearbricks, Kubricks, Trexis and other blind box toys to trade with other toy aficionados”. It’s free and, as an added bonus, refreshments will be served! And while you are there, make sure to go into the store too and relish in the hot Wacky/Soap Plant magic and also check out what the Nathan T. Ota and Joel Nakamura shows at the Luz de Jesus Gallery.
