It’s almost as if tokidoki’s Simone Legno has a twin because it’s hard to image how he puts out copious products and makes it to so many events on his own. Following signings at SDCC 08, Simone can next be seen at a special in-store appearance at Giant Robot in Los Angeles. Since relocating from Rome to LA, Legno’s anime-infected art has truly exploded in the pop culture and streetwear consciousness. His art appears on everything from handbags for Le Sportsac and Hello Kitty clothing to platform toys and his own line of figures. Legno’s latest project is a special collaboration with Mikasa to make a FIFA-regulation soccer ball, which he will be signing at GR2 on Wednesday, July 30th from 6-8PM.
