Green is the new black. Recycling is like so “in” right now. And for good reason. It’s not just a statement, it’s a lifestyle, one that each and every one of us should try to embrace in some way. Tristan Eaton of the mighty Thunderdog Studios showed some recycling spirit and created a special custom sculpture in collaboration with the United Kingdom’s reuse program “Do The Green Thing”. Tristian scavenged along the streets of his Green Point, Brooklyn neighborhood and found items in dumpsters, gutters and junk shops to create a one of a kind work of art. Using knives, TV remote controls, toys, spray cans, saw blades and an empty water cooler bottle, he created his finished product, which among other things could be called the Post Apocalyptic Water Cooler. You can watch a video of the project down below (and covet the four foot Kaws you can see in the background!). Makes you never want to throw anything away and just send it all to Tristian for him to make some magic!
