The Toffee Doll by Huckleberry Toys – Oh So Sweet

Huckleberry Toys, the makers of the Gwen Stefani, Ali & AJ, and of course the Ashley Tisdale dolls will soon grace us with some stylish sweet and oddly creepy Toffee Dolls. They’re like the love child between a Blythe doll and a goth girl born on the cold concrete of the hippest streets of Tokyo, which just all adds up to a great big piece of hot doll action that I yearn to possess. I spied the dolls at SDCC and they were safely stowed away in a locked glass case, so my plans to grab one and run were very much thwarted. The dolls will be hitting the stores in the Fall (Marina Toffee is available in Japan now in a limited hand fashioned run of 20 – made by the designer not Huckleberry). Each girl possesses big dewy eyes, fabulous and funky fashion sense and animal-eared hats (bunnies and kitties included). Oh Toffee, you are oh so sweet.

Do you know when the Toffee Dolls will be available for sell? I had a chance to see one at the 2008 Disney Doll and Teddy Bear Show. They are wonderful.
