The Mini King Ken Series from Amos Toys

The Internet abounds with rumblings of a Mini King Ken series. I spied the above graphic on J.ME’s blog and tracked it down to the AMOS site, where they wrote this:

The original grey King Ken was produced as a special edition addendum to the In-Crowd House of Horror series. The legend of Ken grew from there and by popular demand Amos bought forth a veritable array of King Ken colorways. There was the infamous black blister pack series with orange Ken and the most rare white Ken. Then there was the flocked Vortigern’s Machine series starring brown Ken and the black Ken (lifted from the Ju Ju bun hallucination sequence in Vortigern’s Machine and the Great Sage of Wisdom). And the last great rotocast ape was pink Ken, made in honor of Clutter magazine’s first anniversary. Coming soon… The Mini King Ken series.

Rumor around town is that this could be the Amos x STRANGEco release at SDCC. Updates on size/price/edition as they are announced. Peep the colorways via AMOS below. I’d be lining up to get one if they really made a mini green King Ken as shown above.

UPDATE: Just spied this on Paradise Toy Land. If my conversion is correct, one figure will cost 300NT ($10 USD) or a carton of 24 boxes will cost 6,500NT ($213 USD). I just emailed them for shipping/reservation/availability. Please email me at jeremy (at) toycyte (dot) com if you would be interested in splitting up a case. I can’t afford/don’t want a whole carton, but would spend more than $10 USD to get that green one. Hit me up!
