Are you kicking yourself for missing The Mash-Up at Munky King? From the pictures seen on Vinyl Pulse, it looks like it was quite the party. More than twenty members of the Pocket Full of Monsters crew attended the event which included live paintings. If you scroll through the photos, you’ll see 2H painting on a woman’s back. Now that’s a live painting.

The suprise of the night was the “mystery print” by Luke Chueh. His print is one of eight, and the boxed set is limited to 20. If you have an extra $300, you can buy yours here.

The pictures look great, and I’m  most impressed with the plush toys by Mycryptonauts. Some of his hand-made creations have a lucha libre-esque feel to them, and the hanging gorilla looks awesome. Check his website to see more of his artwork and to “adopt” his plush dolls.

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.

Aww man. I love them plushies so much I want to take them to the back of the middle school and love them long time…that is, after I knock them out with the Go To Sleep. Word.
