The Little Prince from How2Work

I’m always getting teased that I try to justify toy purchases by saying that someone else would love this toy and I’m going to give it as a gift. Sometimes I actually follow-through with the gift-giving and enjoy the satisfaction of making a great match. And then other times…the figure decides to remain with me. Well, when I saw this picture of a Little Prince figure uploaded by Howard to the How2Work blog, I instantly knew I need to get it…for my mother. If you don’t know about The Little Prince, you need to hit your local bookshop and get it. The Little Prince is a novella written and illustrated by French aviator, Antoine de Saint-ExupĂ©ry. It has sold over 50 million copies in 180 languages which puts it in the top 3 books in the world (Incidentally, book #1? The Bible). Though ostensibly a children’s book, The Little Prince makes several profound and idealistic points about life and human nature, including: “One can’t see well except with your heart, the essential is invisible to the eyes.” Read more about the book on Wikiepedia here. Or just get yourself a copy. More details on the figure (who looks to have a Planet B612 base!) to follow.
