It’s a family affair this Friday at Grass Hut Corp in Portland, Oregon. Opening on November 7th is the Family Forest Creations show by Evan B. Harris who worked together with his father Robert Harris to created the pieces. The show will feature a variety of paintings and sculptures by this Oregon-based father and son duo who do their thing as an ‘art team.’ How do they divide the labor? Who does what? Well, the pieces are created with “Evan’s rich color washes over Robert’s solid and salvaged wood sculptures.”

Evan’s work has a totally old-school look and feel with the use of subtle hues and antiqued imagery. The reception for this much anticipated show is this Friday from 6 to 9PM. Spend some time with the family. If you can’t make it to the show, don’t feel too guilty, you can get a ‘digital preview lister’ by sending the secret password “I love Grass Hut” to grasshut.corp@gmail.com.
