action figures, plastic, vinyl

There is a high-end doll designer by the name of Robert Tonner. His carefully crafted doll collection features popular characters from pop culture films and books such as Harry Potter, Wizards of Oz, Gone with the Wind and Pirates of the Carribean. But this doll designer has gone…goth. One of his lines features the dark and brooding Dreary Family such the Dreary Dinner Doldrums, Sister Dreary, Covered in Darkness and Recess in the Cemetery. Yeah, Barbies these ain’t. These vinyl and hard plastic dolls stand twelve inches tall and have rooted saran hair and meticulous details such as hand painted eyes. The figures are jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees so she can “assume the dreariest of poses.” The dolls can also wear the clothes from his lines, so you can dress your little goth girl up as Dorothy is you want. You can check out the entire line here via FAO Schwarz.
