Well its the beginning of a new week, and let’s start it off with some good news! This past Saturday Double Punch in San Francisco held the opening reception for the group show Continuous Spectrum, which will runs through April 5thth. The artists featured are Mark Todd, Martin Ontiveros, Bwana Spoons, and local artist Jesse Balmer. Most of the artists came out for the reception, however Mark Todd unfortunately could not make it. The reception room was filled with folks from out of town and locals alike for the support and enjoyment of the work on display. A familiar face even dropped by to show some love and spend some time at Double Punch, Mr. MARS-1 himself. The sets were well put together and amazingly breathtaking, from Jesse Balmer’s insane “Observatory” piece, Mark Todd’s cool “Fantastic Four Minis” and Martin Ontiveros’s incredible “ARRIVAL”, to Bwana Spoon’s awesome “Globby N Plane”. Most of the items displayed at the Continuous Spectrum reception are now on sale through Ningyoushi here, but will not be shipped until the week after the show ends. Go see the work if you’re local, but if not check out some samples below and my Flickr set here.

Thanks Phoebe! Thank you all as well for giving me some feedback! The event was pretty chill, I enjoyed it very much. All the people that showed up were pretty cool and down to Earth! Don’t forget QuagleittiM the gallery is up until April 5th, so you still have plenty of time to go see it. Sorry for the late response guys!
