What We Want: Tandoori Meat Cube

What is it about human nature? Why do we always want what we can’t have? Last week Andrew Bell opened his online shop. The first thing I noticed were his plush Tandoori Meat Cubes. I got excited for two seconds until I noticed the “Sold Out” banner in the corner. I knew it was too good to be true. Limited to only 20 pieces, the hand-made cubes came in four designs. I like design #3 because that’s how I look on a Monday morning. Now that they’re sold out, I can’t stop thinking about them.

Then, he has to tease me by posting new pictures on his blog. I’m overwhelmed by the nerdiness of this picture, and I love it even more. Now I can’t stop saying Tandoori Meat Cube. I dare you to find a plush toy with a better name. Of course “tandoori meat” makes me think of Indian food, and now I want to go to an Indian buffet. Maybe fans can convince him to make a less-limited (and more affordable) run of new cubes. Shall I start the petition?

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.
