After another full day of WonderCon, I popped over to see Itokin Park’s opening at Super7. I have met a lot of international artists working in the video game and anime industries, and I found Kazuhiko to be one the most humble artists I have ever met. I hope that his future is bright here in the US and by all accounts, it should be. His custom show was an incredible success (a line had formed before the show and his stuff was all but snatched up instantly) and if you can make it over to see his show, please do so soon, his customs won’t be up for long.

His Himalan figure, including the exclusive Super7 colorway and blanks were a big draw.

But the piece I enjoyed the most was the Mikazukins (below)

Kazuhiko sculpted miniature bones, steaks, mini Mikazukins (aka Moon Boy) and other resin bits, hand cast them all, cleaned each one individually and put them inside of some of the Mikazukins (and a few clear Himalans). So much attention to detail! I had an incredible urge to eat a big bowl of Lucky Charms after seeing this show.
