Super 7 has been hanging out with the big boys. Who have they been rubbing shoulders with? None other than Lucas Films. Yeah, that Lucas Films. And what have they been up to? Why a super big exciting (fill in other lofty adjectives here) collaboration between them, Lucas and Kotobukya (who are responsible for the Jumbo Machinder toys) with the creation of a Stormtrooper Machinder “The Jumbo Stormtrooper is a knee high, missile-firing collectible figure made of blown polyethylene. It even has tiny hidden wheels! The Super7 Jumbo Stormtrooper captures the original jumbo style of the 1970’s and introduces a new lexicon to the Star Wars universe.” The figure made it’s debut at the July 19th Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo and will hit the states for it’s coming out party at the Super 7 booth at SDCC. The finished product will be available for about $350 as early as September and they’ll only be 1,000 of these available for the US public. Get a taste of the magic this week at the con!
