The Rotofugi Plushform exhibit and launch party is just over a week away and I’ve been waiting for the leaks and peeks. On Monday, KaNO showed his custom Plushform, blogging that “plush is kind of hard to paint on, but once you get cracking it gets easier.” Taking a cue from KaNO, Sketchbot posted his Plushform today. My post now reunites KaNO and Sketchbot whose customs first crossed paths earlier this year at KaNO’s ‘Get A Grip’ Moneygrip Custom show at My Plastic Heart NYC.
Rotofugi’s Plushform show includes a veritable assortment of artists the world over. Besides Sketchbot and KaNO, a couple names you might recognize? Kozik, MCA, Steff Bomb, Dead Presidents, Jesse Hernandez, Brian Flynn, Brent Nolasco, Jim Koch, Peskimo, Jam Factory and Squink. Will, as Notcot predicts, Plushies be the new Dunny? You tell me.
