Okay, Star Nerds, head on over to Things From Another World and you’ll find a half-price sale on a wide selection of their finely-made Kotobukiya Star Wars vinyl statues - just enter the code ‘SWKOTOS’ at checkout. With prices usually ranging around $100 or more, it’s a sweet sale to stock up on your ‘acceptable because it’s like fine art’ Star Wars crap, and $50 bucks isn’t a lot to pay for a Darth Vader on a flaming base.
Also still available are an R2-D2 & C-3PO double pack, a Bespin Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, a bunch of Imperial Troopers, Slave Leia and the notable ‘McQuarrie’ concept art Vader vs. Luke Starkiller scene. Of course, there are the usual Episode 1-3 characters also thrown in there, but they don’t count for anything. ANYTHING, you hear me? I admit to owning a Slave Leia, but only because it was free and it complements my Sideshow Toys Jabba the Hutt diorama. There’s nothing like keeping an obese slug monster around to make you feel good about yourself. Which also explains The View.
