From the era of the E Tickets, comes memories of bygone Disneyland rides like Monstanto, the People Mover and Country Bear Jamboree. One cherished, albeit terrifying for any visitor with vertigo, was Skyway to Tomorrowland (which was a D ticket item for those of you keeping track at home). The Skyway, which shuttled riders above the chaos of the park (going right thru the Matterhorn in the process), debuted in 1956 and was torn down in 1994 due to the expense of refurbishing the ride to today’s standards. But don’t fear, you can still enjoy the ride since it has been celebrated with a papercraft courtesy of those kind folks at DisneyExperience.com. The finished product is 8.5” high by 8.75” wide and utilizes 93 full-color model parts. Old rides never die.
