On Saturday, Luke Chueh will open his solo show, She’s My Heroin(e), at Copro Nason. This will be his only solo exhibition of the year. The opening reception will take place on Saturday, May 10th at 8-11pm. At the reception, a portion of his silver Mugs Bunny will be available for sale.
His Mugs Bunny was part of the Vivisect Playset, and the silver version is the limited edition “artists” colorway. There were only 90 sets produced. Opening receptions at Copro Nason are always packed, especially for popular artists. If you’re planning to go, get there early. The Mugs Bunny (regular version) is one of my favorite miniature toys, and I may have to get out there to get it signed.
Update: 48 sets of the Silver Mugs Bunny will be available at the opening reception. He is still figuring out what to do with the remaining sets. If you’re unable to make it to the show, click here.
