Shepard Fairey x Billy Idol on Idolize Yourself

This brand new greatest hits collection joins the forces of two men responsible for iconic faces: Shepard Fairey (Andre the Giant’s gargantuan mug) and Billy Idol (his own signature sneer). Shepard did the album package for Billy’s new Idolize Yourself and screen-printed a poster to go along with it. The prints are an edition of 400 for $50 each and are signed by both Shepard and Billy. Idolize Yourself contains 31 tracks, including the classics, a couple live tracks, a pair of previously unreleased cuts and two new exclusive songs. Blogs Shepard, “The new wave meets propaganda package alone makes it worth picking up.” I tend to agree. And remember, if you download the album you don’t get the packaging, so consider treating yourself to a print. Shepard’s got an interview with Billy he may put up on YouTube.
