Shepard Fairey Takes on the Classics

Beyond Toys

Yeah, with these novels, you can totally judge the book by it’s cover. Obey master Shepard Fairey takes on the classics with his jaw dropping cover artwork for the new reissues of George Orwell’s masterpieces Animal Farm and 1984 for Penguin Books. From street artist to respected book cover collaborator, color me impressed. So now it looks like I’ll have to add book collecting to my already crowded house, bonus points go out to this collection at least making me look like a smarty pants, and a stylish smarty pants at that. Go for the artwork, stay for the story. These new releases will be out soon, hopefully it’ll turn some art nerds into book worms!
