SHARRRK! Custom

custom, vinyl

SHARRRK! is a custom Sharky completed by Andy of ToysREvil. When he posted a few preview images of his custom, I was intrigued. SHARRRK! was supposed to be part of ToyQube’s 4th Anniversary on August 15th. Unfortunately, Andy’s submission was held up in customs and was unable to make it to the show. I think that’s a shame because I really like this work. I like the metallic/industrial look and the shark driver. It’s Sharky meets Mad Max.

You can visit his blog to see a slideshow. He also has a lot more pictures on his Flickr page. I’m impressed by his customizing skills. And I expect my fellow co-writers to get started on their own custom projects soon. Of course I’m kidding. As I write this, I still have a black DIY Munny sitting next to my desk. It’s supposed to be my first custom project but I haven’t even primered it yet.

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.
