Sea No Evil Art Show

Sea No Evil is an art show benefiting the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Remember when Kurt Cobain sang about it being OK to eat fish because they don’t have any feelings? Well, Cobain sang a lot of truth, but that one kind of missed the mark. Turns out ocean animals have plenty of feelings, so harpooning and clubbing them to death is really, really uncool.

Why should toy fans care? We, too, are a sensitive, misunderstood lot. And besides sea shepherd = see Shepard, as artist and DJ Shepard Fairey will be there.

The first two floors of the Riverside Art Museum in Riverside, CA will display donated art from noted artists, including Ed Templeton, Jeff Soto, Maxx242 and Fairey. The work will be available for purchase through silent auction bidding the night of the show.

Date: Saturday, July 12th, 2008 at 6PM

Place: Riverside Art Museum, 3425 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside, CA 92501
