Beyond Toys, custom

You might recall the awesome Munbot posted here a little while back, which revitalized my interest in spirally, glowy rainbow things (and subsequently nudged me into purchasing a Bob Conge Skulloctopus, similarly glowy). Well, the Munbot wasn’t done. Dude needed a raygun.

Scope out the fine details on this incredibly small 3″ raygun, made from spare parts, especially for the custom Munbot. Re-Ment miniatures have nothing on this guy.

Mr. Toons continued his understandable raygun lust (or perhaps just continued to sate my own) by creating human-sized implements of burning, instant death. Hot glue guns, soldering irons, found junk – all transformed into these formidable guys, which he’ll be mounting on display boards. Note that these are works in progress, and they’ll soon get some sexy weathering treatment on ‘em.

Best of all, they’re exempt from that pesky ‘orange plug’ gun law that tends to ruin the aesthetic of every toy gun that we get here in the US. Won’t someone think of the mature, adult collectors for once?

Can’t wait to see more… and raid the dollar store for components.

I’m all about the Re-Ment. I might as well be a 10-year old girl. With a highly developed appreciation for miniatures.
