River Children Make Appearance In SF

custom, designers, events, kaiju, vinyl

Straight from Japanese waters came the River Children. Super7 hosted Koji Harmon’s art show featuring tons of Gargamel customs including multiple Tokoji Seijin’s made specially for this show. I don’t know where Koji finds the time to make all his customs for Comic Con, fly back to Japan, then fly out here again two weeks later with another batch of all new customs! The guy must be some kind of painting machine. Anyways, tons of Bay Area toy geeks showed up to make their purchases and show their support as well as get in on the party pinata bashing held out front. Joe, of Super7, had a birthday the same day so not only did we have art show staples (like beer and black shirts) but there was also a chocolate cake and a pinata filled with the finest candy Mexico had to offer (including chili watermelon lollipops). A perfect way to combine East and West, and any art show with a pinata can’t be bad.
