These adorable cinnamon rolls look good enough to eat. Until you realize that they’re smiling at you with big, round eyes. I’m fascinated with food plushies, and Heidi Kenny of My Paper Crane makes some of the best. She made the cinnamon rolls for a wholesale order and posted the picture on her blog. She will be one of the artists selling her creations at the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyin, New York. The 4th annual event will take place on June 14-15 from 11am-7pm at McCarren Park Pool.
Over 200 artists will be there, and you can see the Vendors list on the website. The Renegade Craft Fair takes place four times a year in four locations: Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Chicago. Each event features more than 200 craftsters and artists selling their hand-made wares. (The website also has its own shop - click on “Renegade Handmade.”) It looks like a great event for anyone interested in DIY culture. I hope they eventually bring the RCF to Southern California. We have smaller events like Felt Club in Los Angeles, but there is always room for another craft fair.
