The Renegade Craft Fair is a unique DIY event held 4 times a year in Brooklyn, NY, Chicago, IL and San Francisco, CA. RCF has gained a reputation over the last five years as being the biggest, best and the most well-known of all the DIY craft fairs out there. At the RCF you’ll find all sorts of cool handmade stuff ranging from comic books to craft kits, silk-screened posters to reconstructed clothing.

RCF is one of the first events of its kind, having started out in Chicago’s Wicker Park in 2003. It returns to Chicago the weekend of September 13-14th from Noon-10PM (on Division St. between Damen Ave. & Hermitage St.)

You can see some of the bigger sponsors in the image above, but there are over 200 vendors scheduled to showcase their wares, including Shawnimals and Plush Team. I’m just going to throw out a few of my favorite names from the list here: ClothMoth, Get Felt Up!, LintyFresh, Pixel Party, the Snack Institute, Totally Tubular and lots more clever branding. For clickable links to all the vendors, maps and info, check out the Renegade Craft Fair here.
