Me thinks I need to get up to visit our neighbors to the north in that land known as Canada more often. Especially when Toronto’s Magic Pony is putting on such amazing shows. Last week they had the Oh No! Oh Oh! Gary Taxali signing (see Jeremy’s write up here), will host a trading party tomorrow and on May 15th the Nathan Jurevicius show entitled Reformation gloriously takes center stage. Artist, illustrator, designer and creator of the infamous Scary Girl, presents his first solo show in four years. They’ll be large-scale sculptural installations, watercolor drawings, animations, a special print edition as well as a limited edition bronze owl sculpture that will be an exclusive to Magic Pony. The opening of the show will be Thursday May 15th from 7 -10 pm and Mr. Jurevicius will be there to bask in the glory of all your admiration and esteem.
