I’ve been fascinated by lucky cats (maneki neko) for years. You’ve probably seen one in your local Chinese or Japanese restaurant. My favorite ramen place has a ceramic lucky cat clutching an Asahi beer bottle. I saw the same one on ebay for $200.

I’m still on the lookout for the Lucky Cat Dunnys by Mr. Shane Jessup. I would love the find the open-eyed lucky cat. They both have cute appeal, and I’ll have to hunt them on ebay.
