Oinking Its Way Into The Designer Toy Market

Mon, May 12, 2008

Misc, resin, vinyl

Black Oink is a small design house from Singapore that has worked with such heavyweights as Sony, IBM and HP. All work and no play makes designer Simon Kang a dull boy though, and thus he’s set his sights on releasing Black Oink’s first designer toy: BO9, their pig mascot. Everything, from conceptualization to final production and packaging, will be handled (and handmade) by Simon. The 4″ resin BO9 will be released in a limited run of between 10-20pcs in 3 colorways with articulation in its head. Pricing and release date TBD.
