Qee 4 All just dropped word of a fashion collab between Toy2R and Chart It, a new UK-based desktop gadget and novelty item retailer. Toy2R has a full line of apparel and hats preparing to drop but currently has a line of QEE Courier Bags, QEE Backpacks, QEE Shopper Bags and QEE Duffel Bags made by Urban Access. Each bag includes a randomized Qee figure, embroidered Qee detailing and a clear pocket for toting your Qee. The bags retail for £20.00-£35.00. All of the Qee figures packed with the bags are from early Qee series, making the bags (which have a slight bent toward the female or metrosexual persuasions) even more attractive. New bags from Toy2R are expected to have new Qee collectibles packaged with them.
Self-styled “impulse buy” websites make me weary of quality, but Toy2R usually does a good job picking its partners. The item pages also describe the website staff as Qee fans and collectors. Further, Chart It members gave the bags high marks in the fields of expectation, value and recommendation. As for the Qee you get with the bag, it’s basically blind-bag. But check out the sweet Acid Qee (the olive green Acid Qee with 420 back-print is one of my all-time favorite figures) pictured with the duffel bag below. As for me, I like a pretty minimal bag for toting around a small notebook and camera. Hoping for a Qee satchel or cargo pants next maybe.
