The first of the 5 billboards for Ray-Ban x Project Colorize went live in NYC with the unveiling of Ron English’s piece. The launch included the presence of actors dressed in black wearing the signature sunglasses in the middle of Manhattan. The public art show literally stopped traffic, which echoes Ron English’s philosophy in the video below that “If you want to get hit by a car, go stand in the street.” Ron’s billboard blends the fashion trends of modernism and organic plant life to create a “fashion from another planet” look.
