ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

Where do you hope to be on June 27th? I know where I will wish I was going to be, in Chicago Illinois at the Rotofugi Designer Toy Store and Gallery. Starting at six pm Rotofugi will go custom crazy with the much anticipated launch of the Plushform, the “totally customizable Designer Stuffed Toy” created by Shawn Smith of Shawnimals fame (check out my interview with him from last month here). Don’t fret, the DIY plush will be available worldwide on that day but at Rotofugi there will be a “Plushform blow-out of epic proportions”. There will be over sixty custom Plushforms from artists here, there and everywhere. Some included are Kozik, MCA, Jesse Hernandez, Cupco, Anna Chambers, Brian Flynn, as well as many many and did I mention many others. For a complete list of artists check here.
