Plushforms @ Rotofugi

custom, plush

Plushforms are the cutest and the only customizable plush platform. After seeing a few of the custom Plushforms out there, it makes you wonder why someone didn’t think of this before. The Release Event and Custom Show took place at Rotofugi in Chicago [blogged]. We saw a few sneak previews from kaNO and Sketchbot [blogged], and now we can see the rest of the exhibit here.

They are all super-adorable, and I’ve posted a few of my favorites. Cameron Tiede’s Primitive Scream is one of the more expensive pieces. Dacosta!’s Gaburi makes me want to watch a sumo match. Everyone loves monkeys, and Jen Rarey’s Chunky Munky has the perfect look and name. Each piece is one-of-a-kind so find your favorite before it’s sold.

In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a ToyCyte poll to your right. Here is your chance to tell us what you’d like us to cover. I’m sad that plushies aren’t getting much love. If you love plushies like I do, please vote!

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.
