Toy2R is sponsoring a 16-inch DIY Qee exhibition and auction at Colette to benefit Paris Tout P’tits. Founded in 1992, Paris Tout P’tits’ mission is to provide for the needs of children born into poverty. Colette will hold a public exhibit of the customized Qee from June 9th to 14th. On June 17th and 18th, Christie’s Paris will hold a one-of-a-kind Qee auction with the proceeds going to Paris Tout P’tits.
This isn’t the first time Toy2R has aided children’s charities. Toy2R supplied Qee for the Art is a Gift project, a Minnesota charity dedicated to bringing the healing powers of art into the lives of abused, neglected and at-risk children. The figures in the Paris Tout P’tits auction all start at 300 Euros and include some of the biggest names in the international art community. A short list of the many participating artists includes Luc Besson, Nada One (inset left), Sonia Rykiel and Philippe Starck. For the full list, see the Toy2R press release here.
