I’m aware that this isn’t a blog about how best to decorate your living room sofa, but here’s a great way to decorate your living room sofa, brought to you by Octopus Ink in the UK. It’s okay – it’s completely toyetic.

Have a gander at these ‘Mitesized’, super-derivative characters emblazoned on these classy throw pillows. They’re identifiable enough to be awesome, and divorced enough from their origins to be relatively unimpeachable. I can’t imagine a sexier, more masculine couch than one with He-Man on one end and Chewbacca on the other. If these aren’t begging to be made into little rotocast adorables, I don’t know what is. Octopus Ink displays an alarming lack of tentacles, but they do make promises of carrying toys and skatedecks in the future. For now, bask in the pin-ups and baby superpeople, as I fight the urge to get myself an adorable Skeletor-ish shirt.
