It’s a vicious cycle. Because of our weak dollar, costly health insurance and oxymoronic economic stimulus package, this $200 poster by Alex Pardee is woefully out of my price range. I wonder if Upper Playground could give out vouchers though? We elect Obama as our president, he fixes our shit up, this frees up spending cash and then we can order the posters. Or maybe some charitable Obamaniacs could buy up a slew and dole them out to the middle class. I’ve got a prominent location to put it, I swear. I picked up a smaller reprint of Shepard Fairey’s Obama Hope poster at a campaign table at the Sacramento Art Walk last weekend for $5. Sticker Robot has Fairey’s and Munk One’s 4×6 Obama stickers 10 for $10. Could we get a sticker or a smaller print (or a smaller pricetag) from Pardee? This image is dope, my girlfriend doesn’t think it’s scary (like some other Pardee I’ve wanted) and I could see it hanging in the homestead for oh, how about 8 years… How about it, Alex???
