ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

Well, it wasn’t really a wizard who solved the mystery. It was Jamie on this site who found it, and Andy on TRE who broadcast it and Wizard who had it up for pre-order. Unfortunately, props for sleuthing aside, Joe Ledbetter’s SMASH SDCC Exclusive GREEN SWAMP YETI 7-Inch is already sold out in Wizard pre-orders. Limited to an edition of 100, the pre-order price was $129.99 with a ship date of late July. Here’s hoping they will have more at SDCC!

UPDATE! This just in from Toy2R via Qeeland:

Swamp Yeti Smash will debut at the Taipei Toy Festival July 10th through the 13th. The figure will be made available at the TOY2R booth #A18, A19. There will be 100 pieces available during the show. They will also be making 100 pieces available at SDCC, but are currently figuring out how to do that. It appears Wizard may have had a small amount of pre-orders locked in, but the total for the Swamp Yeti Smash is 200 pieces.

Toy2r also offers this clarification on the other versions:

PYRO (yellow) SMASH – Munky King Exclusive – 200 pieces – released and sold out.
BROWN SMASH - 1st direct shipment shipped and now the second wave is gettting on the water and should hit before end of June.
CANDY (pink) SMASH – Previews Exclusive – 600 pieces – should be hitting customs soon and will ship out immediately once received.
GOLDIE (gold) SMASH – NEWBURY COMICS EXCLUSIVE – 600 pieces – is sitting with the Candy version and should be going to Newbury once released.
YETI (blue) SMASH – shared Exclusive with ARTOYZ and URBAN COLLECTOR – 300 pieces each – will be shipping next month with the expected arrival of early July.
SWAMP YETI (green) SMASH – 200 pieces – as stated above – available in JULY
