Munky King Sale – Pushers and Kaiju Sale!

Tue, Oct 28, 2008

designers, events, kaiju

Yup, you can get some hot pusher or Kaiju action, and you can get it less than full price, from Los Angeles toy mecca Munky King.

Right now, they are having two sales. One is their Thomas Han-designed Pusher sale. These limited edition six-inch vinyl are amazingly cool and beautifully executed. If you haven’t already picked them up, you can get the Pirate, the Glow in the Dark Pirate, Spirit, GID Spirit, Monster and Monster GID now and cheaper. The ones that were $75 are going for $60 now and the one that were $60? Well they’re going for $45.

As for their Kaiju sale, be warned many items have reached ‘Low Stock’ territory. But you can get items like the Secret Base Frankenchrome for $64 rather than $90 or the stunning Gargamel Eaton by Bwana Spoons for $54 instead of $90.

I was asked by Munky King to do this Thomas Han DIY toy for an event later in February. I have just completed the mission.

I have to report back that Thomas Han’s DIY is AWESOMELY fun to paint mainly because of the smooth flowing lines, moveable (and removable) body parts and masks for customization.

This link is to the images of the vinyl piece painted up beautifully. I will be showcasing it at this year’s New York Comic Con in a few days!
