Mothman Vs. Flatwoods Set

I never knew about the Mothman Festival until I read the Uglyblog. David Horvath mentions that he and Sun-Min will not be able to attend the festival in Point Pleasant, WV. Instead, they donated several sets of Mothman vs. Flatwoods: Super Market Toy Series 1 to the Mothman Museum. Some may be given away in a raffle at the festival.

If you’re nowhere near West Virginia, head over the Giant Robot’s online shop. You can get your plastic set for just $10. What is the Super Market Series? “These are sort of inexpensive plastic toy sets similar to those found in Japanese Super Markets.” You can find all sorts of cool and unusual knickknacks at Japanese markets.

The set comes with a few background accessories and is made of “heavy plastic.” It’s a reasonably priced set for Horvath collectors.

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.
