Good news for MCA and Qee fans in the Hong Kong area. He’ll be doing a show with Toy2R at the end of August. He’s doing up a 60-inch Elder Ape Qee (above right) in a red and yellow colorway for the event. There’s also a 36-inch Elder Ape (above left). I always dig seeing huge Qee, but since I only collect 2.5-inch Qee, I’m even more psyched about MCA’s upcoming book with Toy2R. It’s a compendium of his art and toys to be released at the Hong Kong show. I sent him a message to see how the rest of us can get a copy of Simian Nation. He said he’s working on it, so stay tuned!
