Anybody else find coloring to be a prescription-free method of relaxation? The Brothers Washburn introduced Color Ink Book, their “DIY Art Periodical,” at SDCC and APE and now have the premier issue ready to ship. The Dark Knight issue features B&W art from Julie West, Jim Mahfood, Sara Antoinette Martin, Bubi Au Yeung, Annie Owens, Anthony Ausgang, Nathan Spoor, Abe Lincoln Jr. and many more. This edition has a brand new cover by Tony Caporusso and 100+ pages of stuff to color. You can pick up an issue for $10 (or a $30 subscription) here. They’ve also got crayon plush dolls, t-shirts and an open submissions policy for upcoming issues. Finally, anybody who has a cat who finds his/her way into product pictures is OK in my book. Check this stuff out.
