Luke Chueh Designs New Fall Out Boy Cover

Mon, Sep 15, 2008

Beyond Toys, designers

So, it looks like you’ll be getting your new piece of Luke Chueh artwork at your local Amoeba or Virgin Megastore. Luke Chueh has graciously shared his genius with the lads from Fall Out Boy. He did the illustration for their new album Folie A Deux. Regardless if you are a fan of FOB, the album art is undeniably cool. But Luke may have to amend his website (this is from it) …

“Do you do album artwork?”

“Yes. but I’ll only do music I like. I actually take the time to listen to the album before designing it’s cover, (I’ve found that if you take the time to listen to the record, it’s easier to create artwork that actually relates to it… which is a good thing.) Pop records of the Diva, Boy Band, Top 40 variety need not apply.”

Many would lump FOB in the “Pop records of the Diva, Boy Band, Top 40 variety.”.
