designers, events, plush, wood

Artwork from TADO’s solo exhibition is currently available for viewing and purchase at Magic Pony. Called “Lily: the Littlest Cannibal,” the launched their Cannibal FunFair series. The exhibit included paintings, prints, sculptures, and plushies. The wooden sculpture pictured above is titled Lily and the moon. The super-adorable piece is still available if you have an extra $1200 in your bank account.

The show also featured original plushies like Octobear. Made of cashmere, the 7″ plush is available for $100. Most of the plushies are in that price range, and about half of them are sold so far. The prints and paintings are all really cute, and it doesn’t cost you anything to just look at them. A lot of the pieces have sold out, and I’m really happy for TADO. Their Cannibal FunFair series may be one of my favorite mini-series yet.

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.
